Laminate Flooring... Or Not!
I have an appontment tomorrow with the Empire floor guys and want to replace our worn out carpet in the downstairs. Tile and wood are pricey so I'm considering laminate which comes in wood or tile look! The problem is I'm not wanting to tear out the "real tile" I already have in my entryway and kitchen; what do you think. Should I replace with laminate wood, laminate tile or just wait until I can afford the real stuff!
Here's what would stay:
Tile Entry,
Carpeted Formal Living Room (which is in good shape - adjacent to entryway)
Tile Kitchen
Here's what would go:
Carpet in Hallway
Carpet in Formal Dining Room (across from laundry room)
Carpet in Family Room (adjacent to kitchen)
ps... please excuse the paint in kitchen as we were trying out a new color (mistake) :)
